Jeff was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1973 but made it to the heat and desert of Las Vegas, Nevada in 2003 with stops in New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas along the way. He started out with a business degree and worked as a certified public accountant before switching careers and going into law enforcement and working as a crime scene analyst for almost 20 years. He brings investigations into over 4,000 crime scenes to his work as an author.
