Archie W. N. Roy hold degrees in Psychology, Education and Biblical Studies from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, and the Evangelical Bible College and Seminary, Florida, He has worked for the charity RNIB as well as the University of Glasgow and has been involved in educational consultancy, student support and research projects for thirty-five years. He has qualifications from the University of Cambridge in psychometrics and is a member of the British Psychological Society.

Dr Archie W. N. Roy lives and works in Scotland, UK. As well as writing non-fiction books, he has published about 50 journal articles and book chapters in the areas of developmental psychology, careers guidance, employability, and inclusion of people with disabilities in college and university education. He has been involved in a wide range of research projects over the last 35 years to do with psychology, disability and access to education. He has an interest in dreams and what they can mean in terms of the dreamer’s life experiences, concerns and aspirations.
